Re-watching Firefly

This week is a total free-for-all.
Anything goes!
Posting is wide open!! Your post does not need to be related to an episode. It can be set before, during, after, pre-BDM, post-BDM, AU, browncoat-related, how-I-found-Serenity, what my crazy sister-in-law says about Firefly, knitting an orange hat, what actor X said at a con, etc... I think you get the picture. ;)
If you're pressed for time and don't have new material, remember that we all love recommendations, too! Feel free to recommend a favorite fanfic, fanvid or artist.

One of the things I like best about 'The Message' is some of the background we learn about Mal & Zoe and their time in the war. Their friendship fascinates me in a way that few fictional relationships do. It's strong, loyal, almost unconditional and without the sexual tension that fandom seems to overlay on practically every other relationship. (I say that being a self-described multi-shipper, myself) It's like they're waving a flag saying "See? Het platonic BFF-ery CAN happen!!"
