Welcome!


Welcome! First off, my apologies for the confusion as to where this little shindig was taking place.  [info]bigdamn_rewatch is a Firefly rewatching community where we'll rewatch an episode of Firefly every 2 weeks. We'll post episode recaps, invite discussion and open up the floor for fan-related material or fanworks anyone has made or found.

I'm planning the first episode recap to be up and posted the last week of February which will hopefully give folks enough time to gear up and dust off that shiny DVD set. If you've got a notion to do a recap post yourself, drop me a note ~ I'd love to have folks join in the fun!

The Firefly fandom is huge and massive and still going strong. So, be on the lookout for episode related fan materials: fanfic, icons, etc. Or simply a random post someone on your flist made in which they wax poetic about Kaylee and strawberries.  If it's remotely tied to an episode, we'd be looking for a link (obviously not flocked links & be sure to credit properly, but you get the gist). We'd love to see what you find out there. 

And if you've got that epic fanfic rec that doesn't tie in to a particular episode, don't worry. We'll be having a couple fancy shindigs along the way. ;)
